Roma are set to present Daniele De Rossi with a long-term contract as clubs from around Europe strengthen their interest in the Italian manager.
According to a report by Corriere dello Sport via TMW, Roma is convinced with the team’s performances under manager Daniele De Rossi and are preparing a new contract for him.
The former Giallorossi man was appointed as the club’s head coach following the sacking of Jose Mourinho earlier this season. Since taking over the helm of the club, De Rossi has amassed 8 wins, 2 draws and succumbed to only one defeat to league leaders Inter. Under him, Roma were able to break their Derby della Capitale curse and took the bragging rights from Lazio.
Daniele De Rossi’s gameplay style is closely followed by Premier League side Brighton, who could approach him in the event of Roberto De Zerbi’s departure. Apart from The Seagulls, Serie A outfits Bologna and Fiorentina like De Rossi’s football ideas and are looking to send their respective bids to him if Roma delay their offer.
