UEFA Conference League Champions Roma have been offered a chance to sign Jesse Lingard recently.
Lingard has now left Man United as his contract at Old Trafford expired at the end of the last month and the club confirmed the same yesterday. He is now a free agent and La Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that the midfielder’s agents have offered the Englishman to the Giallorossi for a summer move.
It is stated that Roma are still thinking about the approach made by the player’s entourage, especially since Lingard was a crucial player for United under Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese coach is also yet to give a decision about the player being offered but his view is expected to be crucial.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan looks close to departing the Giallorossi, Inter said to be getting closer to signing him. Isco has been linked as a potential replacement but the Englishman seems like a much more suited profile.
