Roma draw up strategy to seal Bodo Glimt’s Ola Solbakken

Roma have drawn up their strategy to sign Ola Solbakken in the summer transfer window.

Sky Italia have provided details about the Giallorossi’s interest in signing the Bodo Glimt star, who impressed against both Roma and Celtic in the UEFA Conference League. The player’s contract with the Norwegian club runs out at the end of December this year but he does not want to leave for free out of respect for the team.

As things stand, Roma are the top of his list of next clubs, with the Giallorossi having kept their contacts for the player alive in the last few weeks. But they want to now tighten the noose for the signing, with reports having previously stated that they were offered the chance to sign the player.

Roma propose that the player reaches an agreement on personal terms in the summer so that they can then talk to the club. The Roman club know that the move will require minimum compensation, but Bodo Glimt want to keep Solbakken at least for the Champions League preliminaries.
