
Merlin Röhl will be out for a while after suffering a syndesmosis tear in Freiburg’s 2-1 win over Bochum last weekend.
SC Freiburg will be without Merlin Röhl for a long time.
The promising 22-year-old was forced off during the 2-1 win over Bochum at the weekend after suffering an ankle injury.
Freiburg have now confirmed that Röhl has suffered a syndesmosis tear. As a result, he will be sidelined for several weeks.
The German youngster has started all three of Freiburg’s Bundesliga games so far this season.
Eren Dinkci replaced him when he was forced off against Bochum.
