Report: Several clubs want Marmoush

By Jonathan Dicks

Per Stuttgarter Nachrichten, the Wolfsburg forward is attracting great interest after his loan spell at Stuttgart. Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Espanyol Barcelona are interested in his services.

Omar Marmoush put away 3 goals and added 5 assists in 23 appearances last season, which has caused Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Espanyol Barcelona to check if he’s available. Reportedly, Brentford is the only team that has tendered an offer for the Egyptian who has returned to VfL Wolfsburg this season.

Wolfsburg have the 23-year-old in their plans for the 2022/23 campaign, so it will take a lot to pry him away from Germany. Marmoush played off the left in Wolfsburg’s first competitive match of the season in the DFB-Pokal, as he was the lone goal-scorer with a 92nd minute winner.

Nottingham Forest is a club to watch, as they continue their summer of poaching players from the Bundesliga. If the right price comes along, Marmoush could be moved with a contract that expires in 2023.
