The powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid are not taking into consideration a deal to bring Sergio Ramos back to the club.
That’s according to Marca, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.
The board at Real Madrid are understood to be taking into account dipping into the market, this coming January.
As much comes amid something of a crisis in Carlo Ancelotti’s defence, long-term absentee David Alaba having already this season been joined on the sidelines by both Joan Martínez, and Dani Carvajal.
The name of the aforementioned Ramos, available as a free agent following the expiration of his terms with Sevilla in the summer, has in turn been floated as one potential option for Los Blancos.
If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, however, then a reunion between the Spanish champions and their one-time stalwart does not appear to be on the cards.
As per a report from Marca:
‘The possible return of Sergio Ramos has not been taken into account at any time.’
