An insight into the plans of the brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid for youngster Endrick for the remainder of the season has on Thursday been provided.
Frontman Endrick, for his part, is of course in the midst of what has been something of an underwhelming start to life in Spain’s capital.
After showcasing flashes of his unquestionable potential en route to a pair of goals by mid-September, the Brazilian has since majorly struggled for game-time.
All told, amid competition from fellow summer arrival Kylian Mbappé in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, Endrick has been afforded just one start all season to date.
Recent speculation in the media, pointing towards a potential mid-season loan exit for the 18-year-old, had therefore come as little surprise.
Rumours stemming from England named Premier League outfit Southampton, for one, as keen on Endrick’s services.
Those of a Real Madrid persuasion eager to see their side’s young attacker stay put beyond January, though, need not fret.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano that neither the board at the Santiago Bernabéu, or Endrick himself, have any intention of separating this winter.
