Real Madrid’s plan to sign Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid are interested in signing Jude Bellingham, as reported by Cadena SER.

The English midfielder is very much liked at Madrid but they have a problem and that is that he is a non-EU player so he could not arrive this summer as Madrid have Eder Militao, Rodrygo and Vinicius occupying the three available spaces.

Madrid made Borussia Dortmund aware of their interest in the player during their negotiations for Erling Haaland last winter.

The main problem is that he is a non-EU citizen. In this situation, Los Blancos would agree on a deal with Dortmund but would not bring him in this year. It would not be a transfer, but they would have the option of signing the English player, who would arrive next year, when Vinicius will have his Spanish passport.

The operation would be for around €90m for between five and six seasons. Liverpool also want Bellingham and are reportedly already offering Dortmund €100m for the England international.
