Real Madrid youngster is averaging a goal every 12 minutes this season

A remarkable statistic, highlighting the impressive goalscoring rate of Real Madrid star Carlos Espí across the season to date has come to the fore online.

This of course comes fresh off the young frontman finding the net for the latest occasion on Wednesday evening.

With Real Madrid desperately searching for a way back into things late in a Champions League meeting with AS Roma, the summer arrival in Spain’s capital was introduced off the bench.

And en route to a rousing late comeback for Los Blancos, Espí set things in motion, netting within minutes of stepping foot on the pitch.

This marked the 21-year-old’s third goal for Real Madrid since his summer arrival from Levante. Whilst this may not look like an overly impressive scoring rate, it should be noted that it has come in just 38 minutes of playing time.

Espí, all told, is therefore averaging a goal every 12-13 minutes on the pitch this season.
