La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Thursday been subjected to a lighthearted jibe at the hands of Red Star Belgrade.
This comes after the latter’s defeat at the hands of Barcelona.
Serbian giants Red Star last night welcomed Hansi Flick’s Barca to Belgrade, for a Champions League clash.
When all was said and done, it was the evening’s visitors who emerged dominant victors, thanking goals on the part of all of Iñigo Martínez, Robert Lewandowski (2), Raphinha and Fermín López for an eventual 5-2 triumph.
As alluded to above, though, Red Star’s social media team, post-match, nevertheless managed to see the positive side of things.
This came as the Serbs took to ‘X’, to poke fun at Barcelona’s arch rivals, Real Madrid.
The post, which can be seen below, sees Carlo Ancelotti’s Blancos targeted for their recent 4-0 drubbing in the season’s first edition of El Clásico.
‘Hi Real Madrid, we may have lost, but we scored two goals.’
