La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Friday been afforded some altogether timely positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that two sidelined members of the club’s first-team ranks have been given the green light to rejoin group training.
The pair in question? Dani Ceballos, and Andriy Lunin.
Midfielder Ceballos has for his part been on the treatment table since all the way back in late-February, owing to a hamstring issue.
Goalkeeper Lunin, meanwhile, suffered an injury setback en route to Real Madrid’s midweek Copa del Rey victory over Real Sociedad.
As alluded to above, though, on Friday, both were spotted back in the thick of things alongside the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad at Valdebebas.
As much was confirmed by Blancos insider Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, who has revealed that the pair were involved in the opening drills in group training.
It now remains to be seen if either is given the go ahead to face either Valencia (Saturday) or Arsenal (Tuesday).
