Jude Bellingham has been identified as the most expensive player by the CIES Football Observatory at the World Cup, report AS.
The CIES Football Observatory uses data to analyse the performance of players and predict their market valuation. According to their latest calculations, the 19-year-old England midfielder is the most expensive player in Qatar.
The organisation have put his price tag at €202m, which is €52m more than his release clause.
Real Madrid have been eyeing Bellingham for the last couple of months, but they will have to compete with Premier League sides Liverpool and Chelsea in order to secure his signature.
Los Blancos are very unlikely to pay the youngster’s release clause, but the club will be hoping that Florentino Pérez’s good relationship with Borussia Dortmund could help push a deal through.
Bellingham has scored nine goals in 22 games from midfield so far this season in all competitions and he is expected to start in England’s World Cup opener against Iran.
