A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Friday been afforded a recall at international level.
The player in question? Endrick.
Frontman Endrick was for his part left out earlier this month, as Brazil named their latest squad for a pair of crunch upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.
Amid what has been a largely difficult debut campaign for the youngster on the books of Real Madrid, he was not selected by Seleção head coach Dorival.
As alluded to above, though, late on Friday, the situation has undertaken a drastic change.
After Neymar was forced to withdraw from the country’s ranks owing to an ongoing fitness issue, Endrick was chosen as the former Barcelona man’s replacement.
Elsewhere in Brazil’s squad, Éderson and Danilo have also pulled out, opening the door for Lucas Perri and Alex Sandro to step in.
