Real Madrid star Brahim Díaz opted against celebrating, after finding the net against Manchester City this evening.
Real, of course, marked their return to action a short time ago.
Turning attentions back towards matters on the continent, Los Blancos made the trip to The Etihad, for a Champions League playoff meeting with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
And, en route to an action-packed 2-2 draw, the aforementioned Brahim proved himself decisive.
After Erling Haaland (2) and Kylian Mbappé exchanged goals, Moroccan international Brahim emerged from the bench to slot home a crucial equaliser inside the closing five minutes.
From here, Jude Bellingham went on to notch an injury-time winner, after breaking free in behind City’s backline.
As alluded to above, though, prior to as much, it was the celebration (or rather lack thereof) on the part of attacker Brahim which turned heads.
This came with the Moroccan, after spending the early years of his career developing on the blue half of Manchester, having opted to show full respect to his former employers.
