It’s first against second as Real Madrid welcome Real Betis to the Santiago Bernabéu in La Liga on Saturday.
Carlo Ancelotti has two absentees for the match that will see the reigning La Liga and Champions League winners return to their home stadium after 106 days.
Álvaro Odriozola and Jesús Vallejo are still recovering from the injuries that prevented them from travelling to Almería. They are the only two absentees in Ancelotti’s squad for the match on Saturday.
Nacho, who was absent for the last game, has trained as normal this week. Vinicius Tobias also trained with the first team on Friday, but the Brazilian, on loan from Shakhtar, cannot yet play in La Liga because of the quota of non-EU nationals.
Ancelotti has named the following squad for Madrid’s match against Real Betis:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Luis López.
Defenders: Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Nacho, Rüdiger, Mendy.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Lucas Vázquez, Tchouameni, Ceballos.
Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Mariano.
