Real Madrid starlet Endrick showcased all of his confidence, in opening his account in European competition on Tuesday night.
Real, of course, marked their return to action a short time ago.
In the club’s Champions League season opener, Los Blancos welcomed Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart to the Spanish capital.
And, though they looked some way short of their best over the 90 minutes, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops ultimately emerged on the right side of a 3-1 result.
After Kylian Mbappé’s opener was cancelled out by Deniz Undav, Antonio Rüdiger put Real Madrid back in front late on.
Then, deep into injury time, it came time for the aforementioned Endrick to steal the headlines.
Surging through the middle of the park in a lightning breakaway, the game completely opened up for the 18-year-old, who had Kylian Mbappé free to his left, and Vinícius Jr. to his right.
Showcasing nothing short of remarkable self-assurance, however, Endrick opted to take aim at goal from 25 yards out, picking out the bottom corner courtesy of a rasping drive.
A first of what will no doubt mark many, many goals on the continent for Real Madrid’s up-and-coming frontman.
