According to Matteo Moretto, Real Madrid are intensifying their attempts to sign Leny Yoro (18) from Lille this summer. The Champions League winners are the frontrunners in the race to sign Lille defender as they look to bring him to the Santiago Benabèu.
Los Blancos are not the only club interested in the 18-year-old. According to David Ornstein, both Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested in signing Yoro should Real Madrid fail in their attempts to sign the defender. Mundo Deportivo reported that Liverpool had an initial bid rejected for the France U21 international.
Personal terms agreed
During previous talks, Madrid have been unable to agree on a fee to sign Yoro. However, with the La Liga club now looking to intensify their attempts to sign the Lille centre-back, talks around a fee may be getting closer. Personal terms between the 18-year-old and Real Madrid should not be an issue with Sports Zone reporting they have already reached an agreement.
