La Liga giants Real Madrid will be hoping to add to a Champions League record in the club’s meeting with Manchester City on Tuesday night.
Los Blancos, of course, are set to play host to City in 24 hours’ time.
After being sent packing from the competition by the Sky Blues in last season’s edition of the Champions League, this time round, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops will lock horns with Pep Guardiola and co. at the quarter-final stage.
Real will have revenge firmly in mind, having been put to the sword by a hefty four goals to nil at The Etihad.
And, should the capital giants, as expected, go on to find the net on Tuesday, they will add further to a noteworthy Champions League benchmark.
As much comes with Real, as revealed by statisticians Opta, having put more goals past Manchester City than any other club in the competition’s history.
To date, they have found the net against the Premier League champions on a hefty 14 occasions.
