Real Madrid have had a bid rejected for Chicago Fire FC and US youth international goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina, according to journalist Tom Bogert.
Chelsea and Wolves are among clubs who have held talks for Slonina, but the 18-year-old wants to join Real Madrid.
Chicago Fire are expecting another offer from Madrid after they rejected the Spanish club’s opening bid.
Slonina’s agent, Jaime Garcia, told MLSsoccer: “We’re hoping Chicago can find an agreement with Real Madrid to realize Gabriel’s dream.”
