In addition to Christopher Nkunku, who recently underwent wrist surgery, RB Leipzig will be without Timo Werner against Hamburg SV in the DFB-Pokal tomorrow.
‘Die Roten Bullen’ have confirmed today that Werner will miss the game due to the infection that kept him out of Saturday’s 3-2 win over Hertha BSC.
Meanwhile, Emil Forsberg could miss out as well because of an adductor problem, with Leipzig set to make a decision on the Swede’s availability after today’s training.
Peter Gulácsi, Lukas Klostermann, Konrad Laimer and Dani Olmo remain sidelined.
