Rayo Vallecano vs Las Palmas predicted lineups
The home team are missing two players to suspension and have gone a fortnight without playing a league game after the postponement of their trip to Villarreal last weekend. Aridane is expected to replace the suspended Abdul Mumin in defence, while Gerard Gumbau or Pathe Ciss are options to come in for Unai Lopez in midfield. Otherwise, it could be the same side that defeated Alaves with 10 men last time out in Vallecas.
Rayo Vallecano predicted lineup
Batalla – Chavarria, Aridane, Lejeune, Ratiu – Gumbau, Valentin – Alvaro Garcia, Isi Palazon, De Frutos – Camello (4-2-3-1)
Las Palmas tasted defeat for the first time under Diego Martinez last time out against Atletico Madrid, but he’s unlikely to rock the boat too much here. Manu Fuster is a strong candidate for a recall ahead of Sandro on the right flank, but we’re unlikely to see more than one or two changes.
Las Palmas predicted lineup
Cillessen – Alex Muñoz, McKenna, Suarez, Rozada – Campaña, Essugo – Moleiro, Kirian, Fuster – Fabio Silva (4-2-3-1)
Prediction: Rayo Vallecano 1-1 Las Palmas
Las Palmas are much improved in their new boss, with three wins out of four in all competitions since Diego Martinez took charge. Rayo are still not scoring freely, so this one could end up all square.
There are nine other matches to come this weekend and we have LaLiga predictions for all of them.
