Summary
- WWE will bring the Road to WrestleMania across Europe over the next three weeks.
- WWE will make 11 city stops throughout the continent, with consecutive RAW and SmackDown episodes taking center stage.
- Raw and SmackDown episodes are scheduled in Europe with different start times.
Less than a month remains before WrestleMania 41, which means the Road to the Grandest Stage of Them All is about to reach its fever pitch. Following his earth-shattering heel turn at Elimination Chamber, John Cena is set to have multiple face-offs with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, the man he brutalized in Toronto. Likewise, The Rock should also grace the WWE
Universe with his presence now that the leader of Cenation sold his soul to The Final Boss.
Moreover, Roman Reigns returned during the Madison Square Garden edition of Raw and unleashed a brutal attack on both Seth Rollins and CM Punk. Their intertwined rivalries should only intensify even further over the next few weeks. Apart from these two major sagas, plenty of other stories are going on in the Road to WrestleMania. Jey Uso will look to get some revenge on Gunther as the World Heavyweight Champion has had the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble winner’s number over the last couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Charlotte Flair, has also had the upper hand on the WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton. In addition, the Women’s World Championship story is becoming more intriguing by the week with Rhea Ripley looking to re-insert herself back into the picture with the champion, Iyo Sky, and the No. 1 contender, Bianca Belair. Luckily for wrestling fans in Europe, all these and more will unfold as WWE takes a historic route across the continent during the biggest time of the year.
WWE Makes Historic Tour in Europe
Superstars parade around 11 cities across the continent
The WWE has been looking to expand globally and Europe has become one of the company’s hotbeds for passionate and electric energy from fans. In 2024, the Stamford-based promotion held three Premium Live Events in the continent: Backlash in Lyon, France, Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland, and Bash In Berlin in Berlin, Germany. Lyon, in particular, gave us one of the greatest crowds in recent memory.
With the passion that European fans have shown over the years, WWE has decided to bring the Road to WrestleMania across the continent. Announced in November 2024, the tour officially commenced on the March 14th edition of SmackDown. The road will take us all the way to the March 31st episode of Raw. For the first time in history, Raw and SmackDown episodes will take place in Europe for three consecutive weeks. In addition, wrestling fans will also get the opportunity to see their favorite wrestlers in person as several WWE Road to WrestleMania Live Events will take place in three straight weekends. Overall, the European Tour will make stops in nine countries and 11 cities.

With the best superstars in the world taking their talents across the pond, the WWE is set to operate in a different time zone. As such, start times for Raw and SmackDown will deviate from their usual schedule over the next three weeks. This may lead to some confusion among fans, especially in North America.
SmackDown Europe Tour: Venue, Schedule, Superstars Advertised
Wrestling fans internationally will still be able to watch SmackDown live, thanks to Netflix. However, fans in the United States will not be able to catch the action in real time. This is due to the USA Network’s exclusivity rights to broadcast WWE SmackDown on television. As such, wrestling fans in the US will only be able to view the episode via tape delay when SmackDown airs on the USA Network at 8PM ET.
Superstars advertised are based on wrestlers listed on each show’s page on the WWE website.
SmackDown Europe Tour Recap
SmackDown kicked off the Europe Tour at the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain on March 14th. The episode saw the coronation of new tag team champions as the Street Profits dethroned DIY in the main event.
The following show made its next stop in Bologna, Italy and fans at the Unipol Arena were treated to a stellar ending as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins all faced off to settle their personal differences with each other. Initially engaging in a heated war of words, the three future Hall of Famers eventually got into a massive brawl to close the show. At the end of the night, the mega match was made official: Reigns vs. Punk vs. Rollins at WrestleMania 41.
The program also saw Kevin Owens try to reconcile with Randy Orton. But The Viper wasn’t having any of it. Instead, he challenged the man who tried to end his career a couple of months ago to a match at WrestleMania. The two friends-turned-foes are now set to face each other at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
March 28: O2 Arena — London, England
SmackDown will take its final stop of the Europe Tour at the O2 Arena in London, England. As mentioned, fans in the United States will only be able to watch via tape delay at the USA Network. Fans internationally, meanwhile, can catch the action live at 4 PM ET/1PM PT as the show will start locally at 8PM GMT.
After their explosive brawl last week, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins will once again share the ring this week. This time, they will make their Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 41 official with a good old-fashioned contract signing.
In addition, LA Knight will defend his United States Championship against Braun Strowman after the Monster Among Men defeated Jacob Fatu via disqualification in their No. 1 contender’s match last week. This Friday’s show should also see Fatu confronting Solo Sikoa for messing up his opportunity to fight for the US Title. Likewise, another title match will take place as the Street Profits will defend their tag team championships against Pretty Deadly. Drew McIntyre is also set to make an appearance after beating down Damian Priest last week.

RAW Europe Tour Recap
RAW’s first stop on the Europe Tour was a must-watch as John Cena appeared for the first time since his heinous attack on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber. Cena was greeted with a chorus of boos from the Brussels crowd. Speaking for the first time since the heel turn, the No. 1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship went off and expressed his disdain for the WWE fans.

John Cena Explains Why he Turned Heel on WWE Raw
John Cena has spoken for the first time since he turned heel during WWE Elimination Chamber.
The 16-time world champion opened the program once again this week, when RAW graced the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on March 24th. Once again, he went off on the WWE Universe and even added more insult to injury to the kid he roasted in last week’s show.
Cena also revealed that he, not only plans to win his 17th world title at WrestleMania, he also intends to bring home the Undisputed WWE Championship with him and retire as the “last real champion” in WWE. Nonetheless, the 16-time champ was once again interrupted by his WrestleMania opponent. And for the second week in a row, Rhodes had some explosive words for the No. 1 contender. However, just like last week, Cena chose to stay silent and save his words for the WWE Champ for another day.
March 31: O2 Arena — London, England
For the third week in a row, Cody Rhodes and John Cena are set to face off in the middle of the ring. So far, however, Cena has only chosen to speak to the WWE Universe and has yet to actually address his WrestleMania 41 opponent. Rhodes, meanwhile, has gone off on the challenger for two straight weeks. Perhaps next Monday’s episode at the O2 Arena in London, England, will finally be the day Cena engages Rhodes in a dialogue. In addition, The Rock has also been rumored to appear in one of the shows in the Europe Tour. With this being the last Raw episode of the tour, perhaps The Final Boss will finally make his return and stand side-by-side with Cena as the No. 1 contender comes face-to-face with the champion.
Moreover, as announced by RAW general manager Adam Pearce, Rhea Ripley will get another shot at carving her path to WrestleMania as she will challenge Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship next week. To further add to the wrinkle, he also made Bianca Belair the special guest referee. This explosive situation regarding the Women’s World Title picture will finally come to a head in London.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso will also take on World Heavyweight Champion Gunther on next week’s show. Gunther has had Jey Uso’s number the past few weeks and this week was no different. But the No. 1 contender had some backup as Jimmy came to the aid of his twin brother. Jimmy hyped up Jey with a much-needed pep talk and assured that he had his brother’s back ahead of his title match at WrestleMania.
Finally, after being embarrassed by AJ Styles a few weeks ago at Madison Square Garden, Logan Paul announced that he will be in London on March 31st. Their story should progress further as their respective Roads to WrestleMania continue to shape up. Unlike this week’s show, which started at 4PM ET/1PM PT, next Monday’s RAW will start at 3PM ET/12PM PT.
Superstars advertised for the March 31st Raw episode:
- John Cena
- Cody Rhodes
- Gunther
- Liv Morgan
- Jey Uso
- Jimmy Uso
- Iyo Sky
- Rhea Ripley
- Logan Paul
- AJ Styles
