Bild reports that both David Raum and Leroy Sané are pushing to start for Germany against Denmark.
Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann could make several changes to his starting lineup for Saturday’s Euro 2024 last-16 clash with Denmark.
Jonathan Tah is suspended and will likely be replaced by Nico Schlotterbeck, but that may not be the only change.
Multiple reports suggest that Niclas Füllkrug is likely to make his first start at the Euros at the expense of either Kai Havertz and Florian Wirtz.
According to Bild, David Raum is said to be ahead of Maximilian Mittelstädt at left-back after impressing in training and coming off the bench to assist Niclas Füllkrug’s equaliser against Switzerland.
The German tabloid also reports that the coaching staff are considering giving Leroy Sané a start after the Bayern winger impressed off the bench against Switzerland and in training.
Antonio Rüdiger, who has been a doubt with a thigh injury, is expected to start at the back after returning to full training on Friday.
