According to L’Équipe journalist Loïc Tanzi, Randal Kolo Muani’s pending move to PSG will not take place unless Eintracht Frankfurt sign Hugo Ekitiké as his replacement. The German transfer window shuts at 5 p.m. and with the clock ticking down on Frankfurt being able to sign a replacement, the French international’s move to PSG now looks in jeopardy.
PSG have agreed a deal worth €90m with Frankfurt for Kolo Muani, according to L’Équipe. However, Fabrizio Romano has reported that the deal was dependent on the Bundesliga club being able to sign a replacement and with time running out, it looks unlikely that the deal will happen.
Hugo Ekitiké has rejected three contract offers from Frankfurt so far and prefers a move to the Premier League if any move does materialise before the window closes. Despite Eintracht’s firm stance on the former Nantes forward leaving without a replacement, PSG plan to push to sign Kolo Muani until midnight with the player remaining in contact with the club’s bosses.
