According to a report from L’Équipe, Randal Kolo Muani (26) will be able to play for Tottenham against Paris Saint-Germain despite being on loan at the Premier League club from the French champions. No clause in the Frenchman’s contract prevents him from playing against his parent club. Spurs prepare to face Les Parisiens on Wednesday night.
The France international attacker joined the North London club on loan from the French capital club on the final day of the summer transfer window. Kolo Muani has made 10 appearances for Tottenham since arriving at the club on loan. The Frenchman picked up an injury against Manchester United but made his return to action as a second-half substitute in Spurs’ 4-1 defeat to Arsenal.
Certain football federations allow for parent club clauses to be inserted into loan deals, but UEFA prohibits this when concerning two of its clubs that may face each other in European competition. As a result, Kolo Muani will be able to face PSG on Wednesday.
