The summer transfer window is officially open. With all the talk regarding who Chelsea will sign over the last couple of weeks, it feels like it’s been open forever.
Now, though, it’s time for the Blues to make some serious moves in the market as the Club’s hierarchy look to build a squad capable of reducing the gap to the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool. Thomas Tuchel has been handed full control over transfer-related business, with the German set for a huge squad revamp.
With silly season well and truly upon us now, expect a whole host of names to be linked in the coming weeks/months. football.london, though, has gathered a list of everyone that’s been linked with a move to Chelsea so far. Let us know in the comments section below if we’ve missed anyone…

Raheem Sterling
Sterling was linked with a move to Chelsea on Thursday, June 9, with the Telegraph reporting the Blues have shown more interest than any other Premier League club for his signature.
Declan Rice
Rice is a long-term target for Chelsea, who are searching for a new midfielder this summer. However, West Ham United want £150million for the England international.
Aurelien Tchouameni
Tchouameni has been admired and watched by Chelsea for some time now, but the AS Monaco midfielder looks set to complete a move to Real Madrid in the very near future.
Gabriel Jesus
Chelsea have recently been in touch with Jesus’ agent, football.london understands. The Manchester City forward has 12 months remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Josko Gvardiol
Gvardiol is another player that’s been watched by Chelsea recently. The Blues need defensive reinforcements before the start of next season, and the young Croatian fits the sort of profile the club are looking for.
Jules Kounde
Kounde could well be Chelsea’s first signing of the summer. The Blues retain an interest in the French defender after missing out on his signature last year and are in negotiations with Sevilla over the signing of their star centre-back.
Matthijs de Ligt
A man whose name refuses to go away. De Ligt is immensely talented, and it comes as no shock whatsoever that Chelsea are being linked with a central defender of his calibre.
Presnel Kimpembe
Tuchel got the best out of Kimpembe during their days together at Paris Saint-Germain. Links were inevitable in this regard.
Marc Cucurella
football.london understands the Blues are one of numerous clubs with a keen interest in Cucurella, who flourished last season at Brighton.
Borna Sosa
Despite their interest in Cucurella, it appears more likely that a deal for Sosa could be completed this summer.
Achraf Hakimi
Chelsea were very keen on signing Hakimi last summer, but Paris Saint-Germain won the race for the speedy Moroccan. The Athletic reported last month, though, that the Blues were once again ‘monitoring’ the right wing-back’s situation.
Kalvin Phillips
According to The Si & Dan Talk Chelsea Podcast, Chelsea hold an interest in Phillips. With Rice looking to be too expensive and Tchouameni Real Madrid-bound, the Leeds United midfielder would be an alternative to both.
Ibrahim Sangare
Another alternative is PSV Eindhoven midfielder Sangare. According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Chelsea and Manchester United are both keen on the Ivorian star.
Ousmane Dembele
Dembele is set to become a free agent when his contract at Barcelona expires at the end of the month. football.london understands there has been positive signals coming out of the Frenchman’s camp regarding a move to Chelsea this summer.
Christopher Nkunku
football.london first reported Chelsea’s interest in Nkunku back in April and their stance has not changed. The France international is wanted by the Blues, but RB Leipzig are currently locked in negotiations with their attacker over a new deal to keep him at the club.
Gabriel Slonina
As reported byfootball.london last month, Chelsea will renew their efforts to sign Chicago Fire’s teenage goalkeeper Slonina this summer.
Richarlison
A recent report from The Sun claims Richarlison has told Everton he wants to leave the club and is eyeing a move to either Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid.
Darwin Nunez
Nunez was linked with Chelsea recently, but the Benfica striker now looks set to complete a big-money move to Liverpool.
Lautaro Martinez
The Athletic reported last month that Chelsea were considering making a move for Martinez. The Argentine would be very expensive, though, after renewing his contract with Inter Milan recently.
Serge Gnabry
The Sun recently reported that Chelsea were one of numerous clubs keeping tabs on Gnabry, who reportedly wants to move on from Bayern Munich.
Neymar
Neymar has been linked with a host of clubs recently – including Chelsea – with the Brazil international’s future at PSG looking to be uncertain.
Robert Lewandowski
Numerous outlets have reported Chelsea’s interest in the prolific Lewandowski. The Pole has confirmed he will leave Bayern Munich this summer.
Wesley Fofana
Chelsea reportedly hold a long-term interest in Fofana. The Leicester City defender penned a new long-term deal at the King Power Stadium back in March, though.
