Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar is set to join Al-Hilal after agreeing to sign a two-year deal worth a huge €160 million.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein is reporting the 31-year-old is currently undergoing a medical ahead of his move to Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal have already agreed a €90m transfer fee with the Parisians for the Brazil international.
Neymar joined PSG in a record €222m move from Barcelona in the summer of 2017. But he failed to make a huge impact at the Parc des Princes due to recurring injury problems.
The forward made 173 appearances across all competitions during his six years at the club, registering 118 goals and 77 assists.
He still has two years left on his contract in Paris but the Ligue 1 giants are willing to part with him this summer.
The Brazilian was part of the club’s pre-season but it became clear last week that he wasn’t in the plans of manager Luis Enrique for the 2023-24 season.
Neymar preferred a return to Barcelona where he enjoyed huge success between 2013 and 2017.
But a move to the Camp Nou wasn’t possible because of the Catalans’ financial situation.
The 31-year-old is now set to join the Saudi Pro League which has attracted some of the biggest names in football this summer.
Former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema completed a move to the Middle Eastern country followed by the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, N’Golo Kante, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ruben Neves.
