Paris Saint-Germain have revealed that Lee Kang-in (22) will be absent until the international break after picking up a quad injury.
The South Korean international has had a positive start to his PSG career. Signed from Mallorca for a reported €22m in the summer, he has started both of Les Parisiens’ opening two Ligue 1 matches. PSG have failed to impress in either of those matches, drawing against FC Lorient and Toulouse FC. Alongside OGC Nice and Lorient, PSG are the only club to have drawn their opening two matches.
However, despite Luis Enrique’s side underwhelming, Lee Kang-in has impressed. In a press release, PSG revealed Lee Kang-in had suffered a quad injury, ruling him out until at least the international break. He will therefore miss matches against RC Lens and Olympique Lyonnais. Depending on the evolution of his recovery, his participation against OGC Nice on 17th September could be in doubt. PSG also play their first match of the Champions League group stage on either 19/20th September. Luis Enrique will therefore be hoping to have the South Korean international back available as soon as possible.
