According to Santi Aouna, Paris Saint-Germain are ready to outbid Bayern Munich for the signing of Désiré Doué.
It has previously been reported that both PSG and Bayern are looking to go head-to-head in order to lure Doué away from Stade Rennes.
Having rejected Der Rekordmeister’s opening bid for the 19-year-old, PSG quickly took action and submitted a higher offer for Doué. However, this too was quickly rejected by Stade Rennes.
This has, therefore, led to the record champions increasing their offer for the talented teenager. It is understood that in the past 24 hours, Bayern submitted a €55 million offer to the French club in an attempt to beat PSG to his signature.
Nevertheless, it is believed that the Parisians will come back fighting. As stated in the report, PSG are preparing to offer their Ligue rivals a new bid of €60 million later today.
Despite this, L’Équipe are suggesting that PSG are not willing to offer such a lucrative fee and are instead interested in convincing Doué of their project. This would ultimately see them present Stade Renne with a total package of €50 million split between a set fee and add-ons.
