Having already brought in Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig this summer, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly now targeted another player from ‘Die Roten Bullen’.
According to L’Equipe, the French champions have lined up Mohamed Simakan as an alternative to Milan Skriniar, should they not be able to land the Inter centre-back.
While Leipzig would prefer to keep Simakan, they could be tempted to sell for the right price, with L’Equipe claiming that around €40 million could be enough to prize the defender away from Red Bull Arena.
It’s also stated that a centre-back could move in the other direction as part of the deal.
22-year-old Simakan joined Leipzig from Strasbourg last summer and still has four years left on his contract.
