PSG consult season ticket holders on possible new stadium

As reported by RMC Sport this afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain have sent out an e-mail to season ticket holders, asking them to give their opinion on a number of options regarding a potential move to a new stadium in the future.

Amid a conflict with the Paris city authorities over their desire to buy and expand the Parc des Princes, the Ligue 1 leaders have been exploring alternatives which include a move to the Stade de France or building a new stadium to the west of the city.

The club, insisting that no final decision has been made as of yet, outlines four options to the fans – expanding and renovating the Parc des Princes, moving to the Stade de France, and two new stadium projects – one within a five kilometre radius, the other within 20 kilometres. In the case of the latter two options, PSG point out that a new ground would allow them to establish new “Premium” and “VIP” season ticket offerings. The club has also sounded out fans about potential uses of the stadium outside of matchdays.
