PSG begin negotiations over El Chadaille Bitshiabu contract extension

L’Équipe are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have opened discussions with El Chadaille Bitshiabu (17) over a contract extension.

The France U19 international has started to break into the PSG squad in recent weeks. Due to an injury crisis at the club, Bitshiabu even got the feature for 45 minutes in Les Parisiens’ Champions League second-leg defeat against Bayern Munich. The centre-back also started in the defeat against AS Monaco as well as against Olympique Lyonnais.

Despite featuring in poor collective performances for PSG, Bitshiabu still retains the trust of the management of the club, who see the player’s high potential. However, he is appreciated elsewhere too, and many of Europe’s top clubs have been tracking the PSG academy product with a view to a move.

Bitshiabu has just one-year remaining on his current deal, and with that in mind, PSG have begun discussions with the player over a potential renewal.
