As reported by Sky Germany, PSG are no longer in the running to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani.
Despite a number of top European clubs said to be interested in the 24-year-old attacker, Die Adler are yet to receive a concrete offer. With Eintracht’s sporting director Markus Krösche demanding upwards of €100m for the Frenchman, it has almost priced sides out of his signature.
Kolo Muani’s contract does not expire until the summer of 2027, which has put Eintracht in a strong negotiating position, allowing the Eagles to insist on a lucrative fee. This has led to PSG almost certainly walking away from a possible deal this summer, however, Manchester United still remain interested.
After a strong first season in the Bundesliga, Kolo Muani’s stock has skyrocketed – especially considering he joined Die Adler on a free transfer last summer. A remarkable haul of 40 goal contributions in 46 games in all competitions highlights why Kolo Muani is so sought after.
Nevertheless, if he remains in Frankfurt for another campaign, he could push the Eagles further up the Bundesliga table towards a Champions League spot. Combining the ability of Kolo Muani with the phenomenal acquisitions Frankfurt have already made this summer and Dino Toppmöller’s side could be a force in the upcoming season.
