Grischa Prömel will be out for several months due to a serious injury.
TSG Hoffenheim have announced that Grischa Prömel will be sidelined for several months.
The 29-year-old midfielder suffered a cruciate ligament injury during training on Tuesday morning.
“This is bitter news for us and for Grischa himself. He plays a key role in our team both on and off the pitch and this loss really hurts, especially in the ongoing process of our team growing together at the start of a season with matches on the national and European stage,” said Frank Kramer, TSG Hoffenheim’s interim sporting director.
“Of course, we will support Grischa with all the means at our disposal and stand firmly by his side.”
