As reported via Bild, a number of unnamed Premier League clubs are looking to sign Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel in January.
Since Tel joined Der Rekordmeister in the summer of 2022 for €20m, the Frenchman has been on the fringes of the Bayern squad. However, despite only starting three games so far this season, Tel has been a constant threat from the Bayern bench.
With six goals and three assists in 18 appearances, the 18-year-old is currently averaging a goal contribution every 60 minutes. While Tel may be hoping for more game time, his impact from the bench has seen him become a key player for Thomas Tuchel this season.
This is why it is expected that, regardless of the interest from Premier League clubs, Bayern will refuse to sell their talented teenager, especially in January. Tel is under contract in Bavaria until 2027, and if he were to leave earlier, it would take a substantial fee to prize him away.
