The USA play the Netherlands in the first fixture of the World Cup round of 16.
The last time the US national team made it this far in the competition was in the 2014 World Cup held in Brazil. They eventually lost to Belgium in extra time, with Tim Howard breaking the record for the number of saves made in a World Cup match on the day.
A win would see the USA going to the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 2002.
Gregg Berghalter is expected to start one player from La Liga against the Dutch. Valencia’s Yunus Musah will most likely start in midfield alongside captain Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie.
Predicted USA lineup against the Netherlands:
AS predict that Berghalter will field the following starting XI against the Netherlands: Turner – Dest, Zimmerman, Ream, Robinson – Musah, Adams, McKennie – Pulisic, Wright, Weah.
The match is set to kick off at 4 pm CET.
