Uruguay play Ghana in the final round of the World Cup group stages.
Following their draw against South Korea in the first round of the competition and their defeat to Portugal on Monday, Uruguay must win against Ghana in order to stand any chance of making it to the round of last 16.
Diego Alonso is predicted to include two players from La Liga in his starting XI. Atlético Madrid’s José María Giménez will most likely start alongside Diego Godín in the heart of Uruguay’s defence, while Real Madrid star Federico Valverde will probably play in the middle of the pitch with Rodrigo Bentancur.
Predicted Uruguay lineup against Ghana
AS predict that Alonso will field the following starting XI against Ghana: Sergio Rochet – Martín Cáceres, José María Giménez, Diego Godín Mathías Olivera – Facundo Pellistri, Federico Valverde, Rodrigo Bentancur, Giorgian de Arrascaeta – Luis Suárez, Darwin Núñez.
The match is set to kick off at 4 pm CET.
