Real Madrid travel north on Sunday to take on Athletic Club at San Mamés.
Dani Carvajal and Eden Hazard are injured and will miss the trip to the Basque country. Hazard sprained his ankle and is not in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
David Alaba, Lucas Vázquez and Aurélien Tchouaméni are also out for the league match, but Carlo Ancelotti has midfielder Luka Modrić available for selection.
Twenty Madrid players took part in the club’s session at Valdebebas on Saturday, including goalkeeper Luis López and midfielder Javi Villar.
Predicted Real Madrid lineup against Athletic Club
AS predict the following Madrid XI vs Athletic: Courtois – Nacho, Militao, Rüdiger, Mendy – Modrić, Kroos, Ceballos – Valverde, Benzema, Vinícius.
Brazilian forward Rodrygo looks set to miss out from the start. France international Eduardo Camaving will likely start on the bench having played the whole game in midweek in the Copa del Rey victory over Villarreal.
