PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Juventus v Sporting

With the Europa League now Juventus’ only viable hope of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, the Bianconeri take on Sporting in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the competition later today.

The Old Lady had gone into the first leg of the previous round at the back of a loss in Rome and the same is true this time, as they lost to Lazio in the previous game and that dented their hopes of potentially finishing inside the top four in the Serie A this season.

Max Allegri recently confirmed that while Paul Pogba is back in contention, he will be on the bench in the game later today. Sky Italia expect Danilo to start at centre-back, with Federico Gatti also expected to start at the back. 

Sporting are expected to start with their usual stars – Marcus Edwards, Trincao and Pedro Gonçalves, who had scored a sensational goal against Arsenal at the Emirates.
