PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Celtic v Lazio

Lazio haven’t had a great season so far but they will have a chance to turn things around when they take on Celtic in Glasgow in the Champions League later today.

The Biancocelesti have won only two games in the Serie A so far and the club recently lost 2-0 to fellow Italian represents in the Champions League – Milan. They last won a game at the end of last month and it was a 2-0 win against Torino, but their previous European tie saw Ivan Provedel grab a dramatic and unlikely equaliser with quite literally the last kick of the ball.

Maurizio Sarri has been vocal about the number of games his players are playing in quick succession, while also being rather public about the fact that him and Claudio Lotito haven’t always been on the right side for new signings.

They face a Celtic side that has won six of their seven Premiership games, losing none. But their European form has been largely poor since last season and they lost their first game in the Champions League recently to Feyenoord. Brendan Rodgers, who is now in charge, could never take the Hoops too far in Europe during his previous tenure as manager, but Celtic fans would fondly remember the last time the Bhoys took on Lazio.

Here is how Sky Italia expect both the sides to line-up today:

Lazio: Provedel; Marusic, Patric, Romagnoli, Pellegrini; Kamada, Vecino, Luis Alberto; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni

Celtic: Hart; Ralston, Johnston, Scales, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Hatate; Maeda, Furuhashi, Palma
