Stefano Pioli’s Milan will look to get their first win of the Champions League campaign, as they travel to Germany to take on Borussia Dortmund later today.
The Rossoneri did put in a very good performance against Newcastle United considering that it came at the back of a harrowing derby defeat to Inter. They could only get a point from the game against the Magpies, but their form has improved and have won three games in a row in Serie A.
Their most recent game saw them beat Lazio 2-0 in an impressive showing and at one point, they went to the top of the table in Serie A.
Dortmund meanwhile, are unbeaten in Serie A and have let in only six goals in the league so far. They recently sealed a 3-1 win over Hoffenheim, despite Edin Terzic’s side going down to ten men because of Ramy Bensebaini’s sending off. Unlike Milan, they couldn’t even get a single point from their first Champions League game as they lost to Paris Saint-Germain.
Here is how Sky Italia predict both sides to line up:
Milan XI: Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Musah, Reijnders, Pobega; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao
Borussia Dortmund XI: Kobel; Sule, Hummels, Schlotterbeck; Ryerson, Sabitzer, Emre Can, Brandt, Wolf; Adeyemi, Malen
