Barcelona take on Real Madrid at Camp Nou on Wednesday night for a place in this year’s Copa del Rey final. The Blaugrana lead 1-0 from the first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu. Head coach Xavi will be without Andreas Christensen, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Ousmane Dembélé for the cup clash in Catalonia.
Xavi could opt for a back four of Ronald Araújo, Jules Koundé, Marcos Alonso and Alejandro Balde with Marc-André ter Stegen in goal. Sergio Busquets, Sergi Roberto and Franck Kessié are expected to make up the midfield, with Gavi coming in off the left, and Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski in attack.
Possible Barcelona XI vs Real Madrid
Barcelona could line up as follows against Carlo Ancelotti’s team:
Ter Stegen – Araújo, Koundé, Marcos Alonso, Balde – Busquets, Sergi Roberto, Kessié – Raphinha, Lewandowski, Gavi. (MD)
The winner of tonight’s Clásico will play Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final.
