Argentina play Poland in the final round of the World Cup group stages.
Argentina comfortably beat Mexico 2-0 on Saturday after suffering a shock defeat to Saudi Arabia in the first round of the competition. Due to their poor start to their World Cup campaign, Argentina will be looking to beat Poland in order to progress to the knock-out rounds.
Lionel Scaloni is expected to start three players from La Liga. Los Colchoneros’ Nahuel Molina and Sevilla’s Marcos Acuña will most likely be the Argentine coach’s preferred full-backs, while Rodrigo De Paul, Molina’s teammate at Atlético Madrid, will probably start in La Albiceleste’s midfield.
Predicted Argentina lineup against Poland
AS predict that Scaloni will field the following starting XI against Poland: Emiliano Martínez – Nahuel Molina, Lisandro Martínez, Nicolás Otamendi, Marcos Acuña – Alexis Mac Allister, Enzo Fernández, Rodrigo De Paul – Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martínez, Ángel Di María.
The match is set to kick-off at 8 pm CET.
