Players who have worn both the Real Madrid and Barcelona shirts

Over the years, there have been several players who’ve had the unique experience of wearing the jerseys of both these iconic clubs.

Ricardo Zamora

The legendary goalkeeper, whose name adorns the trophy for the fewest goals conceded by a goalkeeper in the league, began his career with Barcelona between 1919 and 1921, before making the move to Real Madrid from 1930 to 1936.

Bernd Schuster

He is one of the few footballers in history to have played for all three of Spain’s major clubs: Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid. He wore the Blaugrana jersey from 1980 to 1988 and the Los Blancos shirt from 1988 to 1990, during the era known as the ‘Quinta del Buitre.’

Gica Hagi
