Pep Guardiola wants Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala to join Manchester City, according to Christian Falk.
The current Premier League champions are the latest team to join the race with Liverpool also attempting to steer the German international away from Bayern. The Bavarians are keen for the attacking midfielder to sign a contract extension, however, no talks have taken place yet.
Musiala isn’t currently considering an extension and is willing to wait for the time being.
As reported by GGFN earlier this week, Musiala has several goals that he is determined to achieve throughout his career. These include winning the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or. While these would be possible at Bayern, which is something Musiala would love to do, the chances of achieving this at Manchester City or Liverpool are just as high.
The 20-year-old currently earns €8m a year at Bayern, making him one of the club’s biggest earners. However, should he leave for the Premier League or one of the top clubs in Spain, the youngster would receive a much higher wage package. Despite this, it isn’t something that Bayern are concerned about.
