Pedro Neto set to sign for Chelsea from Wolves

According to exclusive information by French outlet RMC Sport, Pedro Neto (24) is set to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers for Chelsea FC. The Portuguese winger has reportedly already given the greenlight to the London club who have secured an agreement in principle.

Talks between Chelsea and Wolves are also progressing well and are thought to be reaching the final stages. The transfer fee has yet to be disclosed. Chelsea appear to have won the race beating their local rivals Tottenham Hotspurs who had been strongly linked with a move for the winger.

Chelsea have been once again active in the transfer market as they look to push beyond what was overall a disappointing season where they finished the campaign without European football despite a late charge seeing them climb up to sixth in the table.

Neto to join a growing squad

Chelsea have already completed the signings of Filip Jörgensen, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Aarón Anselmino. There is at least hope once again in the club with Enzo Maresca considered an exciting manager despite his lack of experience as head coach in the top flight.
