Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has time till tomorrow to request a counter-analysis in the doping case that currently surrounds him.
The Frenchman tested positive for testosterone after Juve’s Serie A clash against Udinese and for now, the Bianconeri have suspended him and he is not allowed to use the club’s training facilities at the Continassa either. If he can’t prove the positive case to be wrong, he is at risk of a major ban and his contract at the club could be terminated.
La Stampa (via TMW) state that Pogba has time till tomorrow to request for the counter-analysis, which will be carried out in Rome at the Acqua Acetosa laboratories with the presence of experts and lawyers appointed by him. He has already admitted to the Bianconeri that testosterone was present in a supplement given to him by a trusted doctor friend in the United States. The Frenchman is said to have consumed the supplement by mistake.
