RMC Sport report tonight that manager Pascal Dupraz is set to leave Saint-Étienne, even if the club win their play-off tie against Auxerre to stay up.
Dupraz arrived in December to take over from Claude Puel, at a time when the club had just 12 points, and has led them to 18th place, allowing them to keep hope of survival.
They face the winners of the Ligue 2 promotion play-off tournament, Auxerre, over a two legged tie in order to maintain their place in the top flight. The first leg will be on Thursday night and the second on Sunday.
The club management have yet to contact any coaches so far as they are concentrated on the tie against Auxerre first, but a potential shortlist includes the likes of Michel Der Zakarian, Laurent Batlles, and Jocelyn Gourvennec.
