LOSC Lille manager Paolo Fonseca has, via L’Équipe, expressed his opinion on the potential transfer of defensive starlet Leny Yoro (18), believing it best for the young Frenchman to continue his development with Les Dogues :
“He needs to understand the situation, he knows he is staying here. He is young, but also very composed. Honestly, I have observed his behaviour in training and he is the same as he was at the start of the season, he’s the same player. It’s not easy when a young player starts to attract the interest of bigger clubs, but he is remaining calm and focused on the team. I had a great conversation with Leny this week, we discussed the situation and I told him what I thought. He understood he needs to stay here and think only about Lille.”
The centre-back has attracted interest from the biggest European clubs in this transfer window, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Real Madrid CF.
