A pair of La Liga clubs have set their sights on the signature of Ecuadorian defender Félix Torres.
That’s according to market insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Osasuna and Getafe as the two sides in question.
A whole host of Spanish top-flight clubs are understood to be seeking reinforcements at the back with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.
Torres, in turn, has emerged as ‘one of the most closely watched names’ across the La Liga landscape.
Osasuna and Getafe are just two of the outfits to have earmarked the 28-year-old as a potential mid-season addition, giving serious consideration to tabling an offer for his signature.
Torres, for his part, is currently plying his club trade in Brazil, with heavyweights Corinthians.
The stopper, who chiefly lines out at centre-back, is also an established senior international with Ecuador, having taken to the pitch in the colours of his country on 44 occasions.
